There are various internal conferences in different fields: Maxi Retail Forum, Retail Store Directors Forum, Maxi-opt Forum, MaxiDevConf, etc. Their goal is to form a common space to learn about the neww trends in the development of the industry and the company specifically.

The Maxi team not only works together, but also has fun and does sports together. In 2017, the Maxi Energy project was launched, where our employees and their families could participate in different events.
The main Maxi Energy event is the race that engages hundreds of employees.
One of the traditional winter events is a family ski outing. Not only can you follow a specially laid out ski trail, but also go down the slides, play in the snow and snack on some pancakes and tea.
Our ski trips gather up to one hundred participants, the youngest one of whom has been 2 years old.
Sports and business have a lot in common: both require perseverance, strong motivation and determination.
Maxi has gained a reputation of one of the most athletic corporate companies in Vologda.
Another summer sports event is the Maxi bike rides. The bike trails pass through the picturesque center of the city, and the participants can enjoy performances of street workout athletes, tightrope walkers and jugglers.
Some other Maxi Energy events include football, volleyball and crossfit tournaments, intellectual games and challenges.
The oldest sports event of the company is mini-football tournaments. This event brings together people from all the departments: from software developers to warehouse employees.
The football tournaments have been held in the company for 12 years. The Maxi team regularly takes part in the city championship as well.
Every year the company gives out the Maxi Professional awards. It is given to managers who have achieved the most valuable results in the company.
Five managers from different departments are awarded annually.
Maxi Professional reflects the result that the team has achieved by joint efforts. But this success would not have been possible without an effectient and ambitious leader.
The Person of the Year is always chosen among the Maxi Professional laureates.
Over the years, the Maxi Professional award receivers have been: the commercial director, the head of the design department, the executive director of retail, the head of IT, the head of HR and others.
The awards event has been held in the company for about 5 years, since 2017.
Our employees receive letters of gratitude and certificates of honor on behalf of both the company and the city hall.

Another Maxi tradition is the board of honor. Employees from different departments and cities are recognized for achieving high results and demonstrating the best professional qualities.
Every year on the company's birthday, July 1st, about 35 names get entered on the honor board.
The company has a tradition to celebrate anniversaries of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years working at Maxi. The employees receive gifts and objects of recognition: the branded glass ball, the plaque, and the medal.
